The gites of Valflaunes Castle is one of the largest set of gites to stay or organize a seminar in Pic-Saint-Loup. Only 25 minutes from Montpellier, in the heart of the village of Valflaunes, lies a magnificent castle and its outbuildings in a green setting, facing the most emblematic view of the region: the Pic Saint Loup and the Hortus. The cottages consist of two main houses nearby, each with a private swimming pool: The castle and the Alberga. Three other modular apartments and a large reception room complete the estate and allow to accommodate up to 37 persons.

A long story
In the 18th century, Château de Valflaunes was the home of Baron Jean-Jacques Louis Durand, the first mayor of Montpellier. It is now known thanks to its winemaker, Fabien Reboul, and its winery Valflaunes Castle.
The Castle extends over a living area of more than 300m2 in the heart of a enclosed park of 4000m2 with centuries-old trees. This 18th century mansion offers an exceptional view of the Pic Saint-Loup and the Hortus. Since its acquisition in 1998, the Reboul family has ceased to renovate and embellish the estate in order to enhance its character and offer it all modern comfort.
Our spaces
The Castle allows the reception of 15 persons thanks to its six large rooms and its large volumes. Guests can enjoy its panoramic terrace, heated private swimming pool of 12 meters, hammam and Petanque. All in a closed park of more than 4000m2 without screws. In 2026, the Castle and the apartments are rented exclusively together to reach a capacity of 24 people.
The Alberga is a typical occitan house with irresistible charm. It has 4 bedrooms and a large mezzanine to accommodate up to 13 visitors. It extends around a magnificent private courtyard and has a swimming pool and a separate enclosed garden.

Two independent apartments, recently renovated with great taste, are rented with the Castle.
The first, the Sarriette, accommodates 5 people, the second, Pussiu, offers 4 extra beds. Each apartment obviously has its equipped kitchen and bathroom. A third apartment (4 bedrooms – 8 people) is being developed. It will be available in 2027.
Ideal for seminars and small receptions, the vaulted room of 70m2 offers a flexible space that fits your needs. Our caterers can serve your meals during the seminars, but we can also organize, together with our local partners, many fun activities for your teams. Only one contact, Adrien, centralises the organisation of housing, catering and activities.
